Prey
This artwork is about wanting to have that freedom to escape from your responsibilities and the stress of life. The title “Prey” ties into that because most of the time we become the prey/victim to the bigger animal, which is life in reality. I chose this subject (a bird) because it’s very easy for bigger birds to prey on smaller birds. Birds are a symbol of freedom and flying away. I hope this artwork makes people wonder about how they look on their own responsibilities and struggles with every day life, and the need to want to escape from that. In return, finding that it’s very difficult too. It’s very hard for a little bird to escape from a huge bird. That’s why there’s a little dead bird skull in the middle.
Don’t try to escape reality, because in the end you really can’t get away from it.
Esta obra de arte trata sobre querer tener esa libertad para escapar de tus responsabilidades y el estrés de la vida. El título “Presa” “se relaciona con eso porque la mayoría de las veces nos convertimos en la presa / víctima del animal más grande, que es la vida. en realidad. Elegí este tema (un pájaro) porque es muy fácil que las aves más grandes se aprovechen de las aves más pequeñas. Las aves son un símbolo de libertad y de volar. Espero que esta obra de arte haga que la gente se pregunte cómo se ven en sus propias responsabilidades y lucha con la vida cotidiana y la necesidad de querer escapar de eso. A cambio, descubrir que también es muy difícil. Es muy difícil para un pajarito escapar de un pájaro enorme. Por eso hay un pequeño cráneo de pájaro muerto en el medio.
