This artwork has to do with what I feel that people who have mental health issues battle against. Personally I have struggled and watched others struggle with saying what they want to say which often leads to the flames of anger or the waves of sadness. I felt that the overlapping of the pen represents part of what makes us human. Our emotions overlap and often anger can be fueled by sadness. I want people to be able to reflect and contemplate for a moment on what they might be holding onto or holding back from and just let it go.
Esta obra de arte tiene que ver con lo que siento por las personas que estan sufriendo alguna enfermedad mental. Personalmente he luchado y he visto a otros luchar por decir lo que quieren decir, lo que a menudo conduce a las llamas de la ira o las olas de tristeza. Siento que la superposición de la pluma representa parte de lo que nos hace humanos. Nuestras emociones se superponen y, a menudo, la tristeza puede alimentar la ira. Quiero que la gente reflexione por un momento sobre lo que podrían estar aferrándose o reprimiendo, y simplemente dejarlo ir.
